Your responsibilities

Scope of Position:

  • Enable the business by steering and developing all people management aspects, using the adequate tools and systems, thus acting as strong partner for GM Plant Liaoyang (OU) and OU Leadership in all HR, OSH and cultural aspects for the OU
  • Development and implementation of policies and practices for the OU workforce, as well as running the OU's relationship with the unions (in the frame of power of attorney and in consideration of the tk HR policies, regulations etc.)
  • Ensure management of employees in line with the tk group standards
  • Support and drive the development of a capable and sustainable OU organization (and BU Organization)as well support and provide relevant change management activities
  • Support, drive implementation of all OSH projects and initiatives with respect to safety culture and targets
  • Drive and implement the HR Transformation in the OU including all related initiatives

Main Responsibilities

  • Compliance with all business (HR) processes
  • Lead, steer and establish all processes, necessary standards and policies concerning aligned strategies and company targets
  • Maintain knowledge of current human resource and benefit trends, laws, governmental compliance and company policies.
  • Ensure performance management & absence management processes are undertaken in a timely way, with expected standards & properly documented
  • Ensure the correct processing for Payroll & HR Systems
  • Provide and Track key information/reports pertaining to: succession planning, turnover trends, market compensation data and employee relation issues.
  • Provide advice & guidance to managers on serious/complex ER issues, act as a point of escalation
  • Ensure correct processes are followed consistently in connection with all HR matters
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records;
  • Monitor timelines, processes and standards of records relating to HR matters
  • Follow as well Contribute to BU/BA/tk Group-wide HR policies and standards development through interaction with Head of HRD CT-SP and RHQ HRD
  • Contributes to the development of the change management strategy
  • Contribute to division-wide and company-wide HR policies and standards development through interaction with global ULS HR team and the European country HR team.

Your profile

  • Master Degree /Bachelor or equivalent in Business Administration or equivalent educational background
  • At least 5 - 8 years experiences in a comparable HR Role
  • Fluent (oral and written) in English languages
  • Well developed oral and written Communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability and experience managing as Head of comparable HR responsibility
  • Superior leadership skills; entrepreneurial ability / responsibility
  • Demonstrated very good analytical skills
  • Demonstrated strength in working in a team oriented environment and networking skills
  • Superior presentation skills; very good knowledge with Microsoft Office; Social Media
  • take personal ownership for supporting systems, processes and decisions that drive organizational accountability, establishing schedules and plans to maintain the right outputs and, where applicable
  • Must have strong collaborative skills, the ability to work in an matrix organization and experienced working in a HR Business partnership environment
